Controller: Namur Hotel SRL · Last updated: 1 March 2026

We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use namurhotel.co, stay at Namur Hotel, visit our casino lounge (where applicable), or interact with our marketing channels; how we use it; legal bases under the GDPR; retention; international transfers; security; and your rights.

1. Who we are

Namur Hotel SRL operates Namur Hotel and related services. Contact: contact@namurhotel.co. For data protection inquiries you may also write to Rue de Fer 40, 5000 Namur, Belgium.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Website & forms

  • Contact & reservation forms: name, email, phone, message content, optional topic tags.
  • Newsletter: email address, subscription timestamp, source page.
  • Booking requests: stay dates, guest count, room preference, package notes (e.g., casino hotel), optional marketing preferences.
  • Technical logs: IP address, user agent, approximate location derived at country level, timestamps—used for security and debugging.

2.2 On property

  • Front desk: identity document details where required by law, payment card data via PCI-compliant processors (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Casino lounge: ID verification events, voluntary self-limit or self-exclusion records, incident notes required for compliance.
  • CCTV: common areas for safety; signage where mandated; retention limited by policy.

3. Purposes & legal bases (GDPR)

  • Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): fulfilling reservations, payments, concierge requests.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): accounting records, police registration where applicable, casino compliance.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): fraud prevention, network security, service improvement analytics in aggregated form.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): marketing emails, non-essential cookies where used—withdraw anytime via link or email.

4. Retention

Reservation and invoice data are kept for statutory accounting periods (typically 7 years). Marketing contacts are kept until unsubscribe plus a short grace window for sync. Security logs rotate on a fixed schedule. Casino-related compliance records follow regulatory minimums and may exceed standard hotel retention where required.

5. Processors & transfers

We use trusted processors (email delivery, hosting, payment gateways, PMS/channel managers). Contracts include GDPR Article 28 terms. If data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

6. Cookies & similar technologies

Our site prioritizes essential cookies for security and form protection. If we enable analytics or advertising cookies, we will request consent where required and document choices here. You can control cookies through browser settings.

7. Your rights

Subject to conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing. To exercise rights, email contact@namurhotel.co. You may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / APD).

8. Children

Our services are not directed to children for independent booking. Parents or guardians provide data for minors traveling as part of a family reservation. Casino areas are strictly adults-only.

9. Updates

We will revise this policy when practices change. Material updates will be posted with a new date. For significant marketing changes, we will seek fresh consent where appropriate.
